PRINTING
 All artwork must be printed at 85 linescreen.

please indicate the exact color: i.e. PMS 186, not just Red."Any
text that knocks out both plates will be the color of the CD.
If
opaque white is used, please create as a separate spot color.
Page
size is 8"x lO"with the image centered on the film.
Film
should be prepared at 1200 DPI or higher.
Registration
marks are to be placed around the outer diameter of the artwork at each
90° angle - each piece of film should have lts own reglstratlon marks
(overprint).
If
the colors touch, a minimum of a .25pt trap should be added.
Type
should be no smaller than 8pt/bold face. Note: type that lS knocked out
(CD color) should De no smaller than 8pt/bold face.
The
minimum thickness of a line is .5pt.
The minimum thickness of a reversed out line
is 1.5 pt.
ARTWORK WITH HALFTONES, SCREEN TINTS,
AND VIGNETTE GUIDELINES
Halftones,
screen tints and vignettes can be reproduced in most colors offered for
line art reproduction, however, color match cannot be guaranteed due to
dot density variations.
For
best results, the dot density of screen tints and vignettes should be
limited to between 20 and 80% and should utilize elliptical dot.
For
optimum halftone reproduction, process ink colors should be selected and film should be
prepared per four color process printing requirements.

PROCESS PRINTING
At
this time Impress 2000 will only accept electronic files for process
printing. This ensures the highest quality printing with our systems
and equipment.
We
suggest that process colors are printed over a white background to
ensure accurate color match. The colors will appear slightly faded when
printed over the silver disc (please specify on your order if the white
background is to be omitted).
If
opaque white is used, please create as a separate spot color.
Minimum
text size is 8 points. Text must also comply with the minimum hue width
specification to be legibly reproduced.
Minimum
line width is .30mm (approx. 1 point).
Page

Fonts
must be included and their names specified or converted to outline
form.
Please
provide a color copy for approximate indication of final design.
Please note: if the artwork needs to be
modified or adjusted in any way, Impress 2000 can manipulate clients
artwork. Billing rate is $60.00 per hour.
