1. When selecting the fonts for
your document, make sure that you have the PostScript fonts that correspond with the
screen fonts you have selected. Screen fonts cannot be embedded into a PostScript file.2.
If your document is to be run in a signature format, set up your pages individually. We
will paginate the book.
3. Be sure to leave enough room in the margins for binding and any
trim cuts that may be required.
4. Insert blank pages wherever you want them to appear.
5. Run a laser copy for submission with your file.
6. Proof your document carefully and note any corrections on the laser
copy.
7. Create a PostScript file by selecting "Print to file" as
the destination for your document.
8. Select an appropriate Postscript print driver. Call us and we will
recommend the appropriate print driver for your
application.
9. Make sure all fonts and graphics are embedded in the PostScript
file.
10. Save your file to disk or tape or prepare to FTP (preferred
method) your file.
11. If multiple files are involved, include a list of the files in the
order they will be printed.
