1. When selecting the fonts for your document, make sure that you have the PostScript fonts that correspond with the screen fonts you have selected. Screen fonts cannot be embedded into a PostScript file.

2. If your document is to be run in a signature format, set up your pages individually. We will paginate the book.

3. Be sure to leave enough room in the margins for binding and any trim cuts that may be required.

4. Insert blank pages wherever you want them to appear.

5. Run a laser copy for submission with your file.

6. Proof your document carefully and note any corrections on the laser copy.

7. Create a PostScript file by selecting "Print to file" as the destination for your document.

8. Select an appropriate Postscript print driver. Call us and we will recommend the appropriate print driver for your application.

9. Make sure all fonts and graphics are embedded in the PostScript file.

10. Save your file to disk or tape or prepare to FTP (preferred method) your file.

11. If multiple files are involved, include a list of the files in the order they will be printed.
